Established in 2017 and now America’s leading vitamin infusion therapy franchise, Prime IV Hydration and Wellness has announced plans for six new spa locations throughout the Houston, Texas, region, following a new franchise deal with local entrepreneurs Veronica and Cody Lovins.

The experienced franchising professionals bring two decades of franchising experience to the Prime IV Hydration and Wellness family. They have successfully introduced numerous franchises to the greater Houston community, ranging from the sports-theme hair salon franchise Sport Clips to Dogtopia, a leading canine daycare, boarding, and health services franchise. They came to appreciate the value of Prime IV independent of their entrepreneurial activities, having both enjoyed the benefits of regular vitamin therapy treatments in their personal lives.

Also known as intravenous (IV) micronutrient therapy, vitamin IV therapy introduces vitamins directly into the bloodstream, resulting in a variety of positive effects, including extra hydration. Data from the Harris Poll on behalf of the American Osteopathic Association indicates that approximately nine out of 10 adults in the United States take vitamins, suggesting a massive potential market for vitamin IV therapy. The specific vitamins a person takes during vitamin IV therapy, as well as the frequency of infusions, vary considerably depending on individual health needs and objectives.

Veronica and Cody Lovins promoted the value of making the many physical and mental health benefits of vitamin IV therapy more accessible to the people of Houston. “Personal wellness has taken on new meaning for younger generations,” said Veronica, noting that younger consumers are seeking more natural alternatives for health and longevity. She added, “After experiencing the luxury and comfort of Prime IV’s spa-like environment first-hand, Cody and I knew it was a concept that could both provide for that growing desire and bring others to understand it.”

Following the franchising deal, the Lovinses outlined initial plans to introduce more Prime IV locations to the community after opening and stabilizing the first six spas. Chrysta Thomas, the area manager for the Lovinses’ franchise locations since 2013, has provided comprehensive operational and strategic development support during the early planning stages. Thomas, who brings nearly three decades of franchise industry experience to the project, including both corporate and franchisee experience, expressed excitement about her hands-on role with launching Houston’s first six Prime IV locations.

Meanwhile, Prime IV Hydration and Wellness founder and chief executive officer Amy Neary spoke highly of the Lovins, saying, “Veronica and Cody possess an incredible degree of franchise operations experience, which I have no doubt will factor heavily into the success they’re sure to see once open.” She noted that the Houston market represents just one piece of the organization’s growth throughout the state: “Our footprint has grown tremendously throughout Texas this past year, and to secure such an expansive deal for the state’s largest market shows that our Lone Star namesake will continue to develop in the years ahead.”

Neary has helped launch nearly 100 locations throughout the United States. Under her leadership, Prime IV has developed unique IV vitamin formulas designed to optimize overall health and wellness, with a focus on boosting the immune system and promoting cellular healing. Other benefits include minimizing the effects of aging on the brain and body.
